In the 15th minute Adriano Secco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Pedro Martins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Pedro Martins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil dos Santos in the 16th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Fabiofs's Tostão Freire got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 17th minute of the match Rafinha Sergipano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but João Pedro Martins showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elano Velloso made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Rondinone F.C - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Adalberto Vianna. The audience thought a goal was coming when Falcão Marques got free with João Pedro Martins in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. João Pedro Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gil dos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 88 played minutes Rondinone F.C - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Luís Eduardo Arce. Falcão Marques could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but João Pedro Martins made a huge save. João Pedro Martins made an important save on a dangerous shot by Falcão Marques in the 96th minute. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
