Falcão Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Paulo Furlan in the 5th minute of play. In the 14th minute Hélder dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Xavier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Falcão Cabral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Paulo Furlan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Humberto Xavier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélder dos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute, Paulo Jardel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Humberto Xavier was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 32nd minute Guga Freire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Xavier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Humberto Xavier was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Paulo Jardel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 38 minute of play. Murilo Pena hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. LauerArmy's Christiano Fontes got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélder dos Santos in the 45th minute of play forced Brasilino's goalkeeper Humberto Xavier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Humberto Xavier made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Romeu Prado sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hélder dos Santos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Humberto Xavier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christiano Fontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, Guga Freire had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Humberto Xavier. Brasilino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guga Freire was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 62nd minute, Hílton da Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the game, LauerArmy's Paulo Jardel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Humberto Xavier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. 67 minutes into the match, Brasilino's goal looked a bit too open when Guga Freire came free, but Humberto Xavier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute Hélder dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Xavier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guga Freire in the 73rd minute of play forced Brasilino's goalkeeper Humberto Xavier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LauerArmy's Falcão Cabral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save LauerArmy from getting a goal against them. Hélder dos Santos took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Humberto Xavier. Humberto Xavier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. If Guga Freire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the match, Brasilino's goal looked a bit too open when Giuseppe Mazza came free, but Humberto Xavier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Humberto Xavier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guga Freire in the 96th minute of play. LauerArmy walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
