Faustão Prado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Telmo Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. 4 minutes into the game, César Alagoano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Faustão Prado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Giuseppe Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enéas Soeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. The supporters of Nova Iguaçu MZFC booed when Bitelon FC - SAF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fiori Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Enéas Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 22 minutes into the game, Fiori Souto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bitelon FC - SAF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nova Iguaçu MZFC the free kick. Faustão Prado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmo Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Fiori Souto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Giuseppe Lara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Faustão Prado came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Nova Iguaçu MZFC's César Alagoano. But to his dismay, César Alagoano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Faustão Prado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmo Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

In the 53rd minute, Dalmo Rocha reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Faustão Prado. The goal made the score 1-3. 58 minutes into the game, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's César Alagoano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Faustão Prado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. César Alagoano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Telmo Barbosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Faustão Prado. Bitelon FC - SAF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Telmo Barbosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Gernando Mineiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gernando Mineiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faustão Prado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Telmo Barbosa's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Faustão Prado firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 76th minute, Telmo Barbosa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Faustão Prado. The goal made the score 1-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franklin Baptista in the 82nd minute of play forced Nova Iguaçu MZFC's goalkeeper Giuseppe Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Franklin Baptista's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Giuseppe Lara was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Fiori Souto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giuseppe Lara having to interfere. In the 94th minute Franklin Baptista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giuseppe Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Nova Iguaçu MZFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bitelon FC - SAF throughout the match.
