In the 7th minute, Laerte Arruda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leopoldo Cerezo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Márcio Trevisan in the 9th minute of play. Leopoldo Cerezo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisão Sabóia, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Filipe Meneses took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Conrado Linares. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Dráuzio Paraíba managed to get in a good position for a shot. 100 Chance's supporters rose to their feet, but Dráuzio Paraíba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Conrado Linares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the 100 Chance defense, José Vítor de Azevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leopoldo Cerezo. The 100 Chance fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leopoldo Cerezo should have stopped the shot. Leopoldo Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Vítor de Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ibirama Futebol Clube booed when 100 Chance was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Maciel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filipe Menesess short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Conrado Linares to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 34th minute, Ismael Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute, Luiz Maciel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Conrado Linares. The goal made the score 2-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luisão Sabóia to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Luisão Sabóia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Cerezo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 minutes, Márcio Trevisan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ibirama Futebol Clube and the 100 Chance players grew even worse after the yellow card. Naldo Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Linares having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Filipe Meneses left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 100 Chance fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2.
