The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nacho Gonzalez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Ishmael, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lajos Tímár got free with Nacho Gonzalez in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 13 minutes into the match, El Gallo de Moron's Teofilo Garrote sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aristides Iztal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, Carmelo Ishmael notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of El Gallo de Moron's Nacho Gonzalez. Nacho Gonzalez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 18th minute Abel Bernard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nacho Gonzalez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carmelo Ishmael could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Nacho Gonzalez made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luisinho Laguna in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aristides Iztal saved GangsTaz F. C. from getting behind. In the 30th minute Luisinho Laguna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Iztal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nacho Gonzalez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carmelo Ishmael in the 34th minute. Lajos Tímár could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Nacho Gonzalez made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luisinho Laguna stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luisinho Laguna who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 51stth minute tested the skills of Aristides Iztal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Teofilo Garrote fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristides Iztal having to interfere. Aristides Iztal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luisinho Laguna in the 59th minute. Nacho Gonzalez came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by GangsTaz F. C.'s Abel Bernard. But to his dismay, Abel Bernard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 69 minutes into the match, GangsTaz F. C.'s goalkeeper Aristides Iztal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luisinho Laguna. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luisinho Laguna got free with Aristides Iztal in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 76th minute, Germán Pezzella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute, one of GangsTaz F. C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for GangsTaz F. C.. Aristides Iztal had in the 79thth minute some difficulties stopping Teofilo Garrote's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The excitement rose when El Gallo de Moron's Teofilo Garrote after 79 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for GangsTaz F. C.'s goalkeeper to hold. Score! 3-2. Lajos Tímár might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nacho Gonzalez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lajos Tímár ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 85th minute Lajos Tímár shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nacho Gonzalez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisinho Laguna in the 95th minute of play forced GangsTaz F. C.'s goalkeeper Aristides Iztal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aristides Iztal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisinho Laguna in the 97th minute of play. Many of El Gallo de Moron's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. El Gallo de Moron may have spent more time on the ball, but GangsTaz F. C. were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
