Victor Paskal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Nuxila having to interfere. If Huang Bing Ran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelino Nuxila came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Ituzaingó's Jaime Frechoso. But to his dismay, Jaime Frechoso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. A collision led to Club Atlético Ituzaingó getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Lu Yin Xi hit a great ball. After 10 played minutes, 1947 FC's Huang Bing Ran shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Duarte de Sena came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in 1947 FC reached it. Duarte de Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Huang Bing Ran, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Bernardo Salbatore took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Marcelino Nuxila to make any attempt to save it. Bernardo Salbatore could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Marcelino Nuxila made a huge save. If Bernardo Salbatore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelino Nuxila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Paskal, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Atlético Ituzaingó's Bernardo Salbatore slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcelino Nuxila. That made the score 4-0 after 25 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Paskal in the 28th minute of play forced 1947 FC's goalkeeper Marcelino Nuxila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute Club Atlético Ituzaingó were awarded a corner. Bernardo Salbatore went to the cornerflag to take it. Ergün Asalet was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by 1947 FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bernardo Salbatore was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Atlético Ituzaingó's players had a chance to rest. Bernardo Salbatore made a great header on Club Atlético Ituzaingó's corner, it was just that 1947 FC's Marcelino Nuxila managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, 1947 FC's Cristobal Baumar got a free kick in the 35th minute. After 36 minutes of play, Club Atlético Ituzaingó's Victor Paskal made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelino Nuxila was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

Club Atlético Ituzaingó made a substitution. Paolo Marino replaced Victor Paskal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paolo Marino made a kick off. 1947 FC's Marcelino Nuxila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Marino in the 53rd minute of play. Bernardo Salbatore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Marcelino Nuxila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Ituzaingó's goal looked a bit too open when Goren Baños came free, but Duarte de Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 1947 FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Huang Bing Ran in the 58th minute. The audience was convinced that Bernardo Salbatore's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelino Nuxila was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. 64 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Ituzaingó's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo-Hernán Vallejo came free, but Duarte de Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 1947 FC's Americo Artal was substituted for Gustavo-Hernán Vallejo. Gustavo-Hernán Vallejo hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Bernardo Salbatore's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelino Nuxila read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. After having played for 77 minutes, Bernardo Salbatore managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Ituzaingó's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Salbatore was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paolo Marino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Nuxila having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paolo Marino in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelino Nuxila prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 85 minutes into the match, 1947 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paolo Marino came free, but Marcelino Nuxila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Atlético Ituzaingó's Duarte de Sena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Ituzaingó from getting a goal against them. If Ariel Bonachea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ariel Bonachea in the 94th minute of play forced Club Atlético Ituzaingó's goalkeeper Duarte de Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
