The audience thought a goal was coming when Hélder Fonseca got free with Juan Carlos Alvarez in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Linus Fredriksson in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vincent Aalberts saved CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ from getting behind. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marlin FC's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Alvarez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A throw-in in the 17th minute of the game was made by Melchor Oidor with Aybek Orcun as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 19 played minutes CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Albert Einstein. The audience was convinced that Aybek Orcun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vincent Aalberts was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ's Vincent Aalberts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionisio Panpili in the 22nd minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Marlin FC's Dionisio Panpili nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vincent Aalberts made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 30 minutes into the match, Marlin FC's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Alvarez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hélder Fonseca. 33 minutes into the match, Marlin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hélder Fonseca came free, but Juan Carlos Alvarez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vincent Aalberts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Panpili in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Marlin FC's Fermin Arixo got a free kick in the 36th minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hélder Fonseca was the one to do the kick off. Hélder Fonseca might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juan Carlos Alvarez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hélder Fonseca ran back to his position shaking his head. Juan Carlos Alvarez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélder Fonseca in the 52nd minute of the match. Vincent Aalberts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dionisio Panpili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Linus Fredriksson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Vincent Aalberts made a huge save. In the 69th minute of the match, Dionisio Panpili tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vincent Aalberts saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Juan Carlos Alvarez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélder Fonseca in the 71st minute of the match. Juan Carlos Alvarez came out of the goal and Rigan Frankson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A sloppy throw-in by Melchor Oidor in the 93rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ's Barış Mübarek. Barış Mübarek hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Vincent Aalberts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Linus Fredriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
