Santos Lazcano started the match with the kick off. Bernabe Normando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Bernabe Normando took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Angelo Ospetsu to make any attempt to save it. 21 minutes into the match, ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's goalkeeper Angelo Ospetsu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santos Lazcano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Lazcano in the 23rd minute of play forced ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's goalkeeper Angelo Ospetsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Justino Filipo hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's zone, Haroldo Etxahun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Ospetsu came out of the goal and Haroldo Etxahun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th minute, Haroldo Etxahun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The OLYMPIACOS FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 38 played minutes ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ got a freekick which was hit by Marco Bernabel. Angelo Ospetsu made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Santos Lazcano sent off a good shot on target. ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's Angelo Ospetsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Lazcano in the 43rd minute of play. After 47 played minutes OLYMPIACOS FC got a freekick which was hit by Elpidio Brais. In the 48th minute of the match Desiderio Montel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ovidio Oto skillfully saved the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Clemente Martino made a kick off. Clemente Martino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Ovidio Oto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind OLYMPIACOS FC's goalkeeper Ovidio Oto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ovidio Oto was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Clemente Martino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Clemente Martino really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Clemente Martino hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute Clemente Martino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Oto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernabe Normando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Angelo Ospetsu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ovidio Oto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Martino in the 75th minute of play. Angelo Ospetsu came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by OLYMPIACOS FC's Elpidio Brais. But to his dismay, Elpidio Brais quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Angelo Ospetsu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Lazcano in the 89th minute of the match. Bernabe Normando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Angelo Ospetsu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. OLYMPIACOS FC's Ovidio Oto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Martino in the 93rd minute of play. After 97 played minutes, OLYMPIACOS FC's Clemente Camerino shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Angelo Ospetsu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in OLYMPIACOS FC reached it. ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
