When Leonel Rodas fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coupon Busters II AR's protests and gave Leonel Rodas a yellow card for diving instead. Leonel Rodas kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Pedro Quexal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Artemio Edwardo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Amadeo Hegoi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artemio Edwardo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 43 minutes into the match, Coupon Busters II AR's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Rico came free, but Artemio Edwardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Honorio Ritchie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artemio Edwardo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Quexal to make the kick off.
