An unexpectedly hard shot by Xove Pintor in the 14th minute of play forced Sportivo Luan Toro's goalkeeper Robert Davison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Sportivo Luan Toro booed when VERDOLAGA CITY FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guaberto Arce didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robert Davison showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xande Cavani in the 24th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, VERDOLAGA CITY FC's goal looked a bit too open when Olli Fiedler came free, but Barbaros Bozbey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of VERDOLAGA CITY FC booed when Sportivo Luan Toro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jo Barone didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olli Fiedler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Barbaros Bozbey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. A collision led to VERDOLAGA CITY FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Erland Trolle hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the match, Sportivo Luan Toro's goal looked a bit too open when Xove Pintor came free, but Robert Davison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olli Fiedler made a kick off. Robert Davison showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xande Cavani in the 53rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the VERDOLAGA CITY FC defense, Olli Fiedler kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Barbaros Bozbey. The VERDOLAGA CITY FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Barbaros Bozbey should have stopped the shot. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Huang Xi Feng was substituted for Oriche Isazi. Barbaros Bozbey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olli Fiedler in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Xande Cavani ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robert Davison was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martins Palermo in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Barbaros Bozbey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the VERDOLAGA CITY FC defense, Martins Palermo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Barbaros Bozbey. The VERDOLAGA CITY FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Barbaros Bozbey should have stopped the shot. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Eusebio Ecija was substituted for Guaberto Arce. 87 minutes into the match, VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Xande Cavani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robert Davison narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee felt a red card was in order, 91 minutes into the game, when Czeslaw Klimkiewicz put in a rough tackle. 90 minutes into the game, one of VERDOLAGA CITY FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Barbaros Bozbey had in the 93rdth minute some difficulties stopping Justino Roland's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Sergius Ramus in the 95th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Eusebio Ecija. For all the effort they put into the match, the VERDOLAGA CITY FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sportivo Luan Toro.
