With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bartolo Basualdo in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teodoro Peio saved Atlético Nacional from getting behind. Atlético Nacional's Teodoro Peio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolo Basualdo in the 14th minute of play. Edward Kaczor hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Hermann Hesse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Alberto Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Erruki Velarroa got a free kick in the 17th minute. Atlético Nacional's Teodoro Peio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erruki Velarroa in the 19th minute of play. Teodoro Peio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bartolo Basualdo's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Teodoro Peio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. 93 minutes into the game, Tibor Nyilasi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Teodoro Peio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match was over Deportivo Popolizio FBC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Atlético Nacional throughout the match.
