In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Nacional's goalkeeper Teodoro Peio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 17 minutes into the game, Saul Goodman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Teodoro Peio. Saul Goodman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Atlético Nacional's Teodoro Peio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Nacional from getting a goal against them. Teodoro Peio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saul Goodman in the 27th minute. Feng Chao Wei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Alberto Azevedo in the 29th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Vicente Sasoin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Feng Chao Wei was relentless in the 41st minute of the game.
