Ismael Furman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Alberto Azevedo in the 8th minute of play. Patricio Baudelio kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Equipo's Pietro Salles quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Tadeo Barea, made in the 11th minute of the game. Alonzo Rocendo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Ismael Furman made a huge save. With a little luck, Equipo's Ismael Furman got control of the ball when Primitivo Mendez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Equipo's Ismael Furman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomero Rodas in the 19th minute of play. Tadeo Barea made in the 21st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Equipo's Juliusz Cezar. Carlos Alberto Azevedo didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 25th minute. Atlético Nacional's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Atlético Nacional's Teodoro Peio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Cristi in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Nacional's goalkeeper Teodoro Peio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Vicente Sasoin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Nacional's supporters rose to their feet, but Vicente Sasoin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael Furman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Equipo's Ismael Furman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Sasoin in the 39th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Ronaldo Cristi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teodoro Peio. Atlético Nacional's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronaldo Cristi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Ronaldo Cristi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Ronaldo Cristi made the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Tadeo Barea in the 53rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Equipo's Harun Elçin. The crowd rose to their feet as Equipo's Ronaldo Cristi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Teodoro Peio. That made the score 1-2 after 54 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronaldo Cristi got free with Teodoro Peio in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ronaldo Cristi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Peio having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Atlético Nacional's Vicente Sasoin got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 83rd minute of the match Equipo got a corner. Atlético Nacional's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Juliusz Cezar ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Juliusz Cezar almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Atlético Nacional's Teodoro Peio did a great save. Equipo's Ismael Furman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Sasoin in the 84th minute of play. After 90 minutes, Tadeo Barea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlético Nacional and the Equipo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st minute, Tadeo Barea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tadeo Barea kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Ronaldo Cristi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Despite being the better team, Atlético Nacional failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
