After 17 played minutes Ronaldo Cristi rounded Deportivo Popolizio FBC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Cleto Trasagua got a throw-in 21 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Erruki Velarroa. Ronaldo Cristi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Hermann Hesse made a huge save. Ismael Furman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erruki Velarroa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erruki Velarroa in the 28th minute of play forced Equipo's goalkeeper Ismael Furman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronaldo Cristi in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hermann Hesse prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38th minute, Joao Montanez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Popolizio FBC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The supporters of Deportivo Popolizio FBC booed when Equipo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frederico Luz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Equipo's Pietro Salles was substituted for Ronaldo Cristi. Equipo's Harun Elçin was substituted for Unai Papachronopoulos. After 57 played minutes Deportivo Popolizio FBC got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Trasagua. 59 minutes into the match, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goal looked a bit too open when Pietro Salles came free, but Hermann Hesse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goalkeeper Hermann Hesse, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ismael Furman made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Bartolo Basualdo sent off a good shot on target. 86 minutes in the game Cleto Trasagua did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Geir Søfteland. After a defensive mix-up in Equipo's zone, Bartolo Basualdo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael Furman came out of the goal and Bartolo Basualdo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Harun Elçin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Hermann Hesse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Bartolo Basualdo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ismael Furman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Deportivo Popolizio FBC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
