But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evtim Kúrdzhev couldn't finish the play. A sloppy throw-in by Oliver Ramon in the 11th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by RAMBO FC's Itzaina Lecubarri. Romano Ortiz hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. A hard shot 15 in the game by Enrique Cassaretto from a close distance when the talented Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez managed to make a qualified save. RAMBO FC's players were relieved. Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Enrique Cassaretto sent off a good shot on target. In the 19th minute, Godfried Van de cauter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enrique Cassaretto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. RAMBO FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Enrique Cassaretto scored to the left of an out of position Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez, making the score, 3-0. After a rather tough play, RAMBO FC's Erasto Cobo got a free kick in the 39th minute. A throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game was made by Evtim Kúrdzhev with Zlatan Molina as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After a rather tough play, RAMBO FC's Itzaina Lecubarri got a free kick in the 44th minute. With a little luck, RAMBO FC's Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez got control of the ball when Enrique Cassaretto tried to sneak it across the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, CD Municipal's goal looked a bit too open when Itzaina Lecubarri came free, but George Forsyth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Evtim Kúrdzhev might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evtim Kúrdzhev ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 56th minute Enrique Cassaretto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto. But to his dismay, Enrique Cassaretto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. CD Municipal made a substitution. Tulio Andinyach replaced Evtim Kúrdzhev.
