Enrique Cassaretto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Orlando Rivera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. CD Municipal's George Forsyth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justino Gotzon in the 22nd minute of play. A collision led to CD Municipal getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Lucas Huidobro hit a great ball. The supporters of CD Municipal booed when Todos al Fondo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thiago Payet didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Evtim Kúrdzhev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Justino Gotzon in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck George Forsyth prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 37thth minute of the game Justino Gotzon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD Municipal's George Forsyth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 40th minute of the match, Zlatan Molina tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Orlando Rivera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Justino Gotzon to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enrique Cassaretto in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Orlando Rivera saved Todos al Fondo from getting behind. When Todos al Fondo's Thiago Payet in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CD Municipal's goalie prevented a goal. CD Municipal made a substitution. Tulio Andinyach replaced Evtim Kúrdzhev. CD Municipal's Gunnar Ekrot was substituted for Zlatan Molina. Orlando Rivera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enrique Cassaretto's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Todos al Fondo made a substitution. Maurito Boselli replaced Pascual Eliazar. Todos al Fondo's Tiémoué Bakayoko was substituted for Jacobo Fidele. Todos al Fondo made a substitution. Yu Nan Li replaced Justino Gotzon. 69 minutes into the match, CD Municipal's goal looked a bit too open when Maurito Boselli came free, but George Forsyth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. George Forsyth made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Yu Nan Li sent off a good shot on target. After 76 played minutes CD Municipal got a freekick which was hit by Aureliano Buendia. Yu Nan Li who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of George Forsyth when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 82nd minute Enrique Cassaretto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Rivera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orlando Rivera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Cassaretto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute, Enrique Cassaretto made a precise shot to the right of Orlando Rivera. Todos al Fondo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 95th minute, Călin Morovan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michael Klein recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Todos al Fondo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for CD Municipal.
