The referee ignored AFC United's protests and gave Vintilă Arnăutu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to AFC United getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. One of Leones FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of AFC United:s goal. Leones FC's Alfonso Villamarin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bilintx Trilla in the 70th minute of play.
