Amedeo Piermattei who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Armando Bonelli when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Amedeo Piermattei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Sorci Viola:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Zola Predosa FC:s goal. Armando Bonelli had in the 10thth minute some difficulties stopping Amedeo Piermattei's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Amedeo Piermattei had several of the Sorci Viola's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 13 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Armando Bonelli as he didn't even see the shot coming. Amedeo Piermattei made a great header on Zola Predosa FC's corner, it was just that Sorci Viola's Armando Bonelli managed to reach the ball for a save. Sorci Viola's Armando Bonelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Delabarre in the 22nd minute of play. Amedeo Piermattei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armando Bonelli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amedeo Piermattei in the 30th minute of play forced Sorci Viola's goalkeeper Armando Bonelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amedeo Piermattei got free with Armando Bonelli in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Damiano Africano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amedeo Piermattei in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Armando Bonelli, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sorci Viola's Armando Bonelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amedeo Piermattei in the 40th minute of play. Josué Rego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edoardo Meo in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cesare Loreto was the one to do the kick off. The Zola Predosa FC fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Zola Predosa FC's Cosimo Sciamanna looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Armando Bonelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosimo Sciamanna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armando Bonelli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cosimo Sciamanna's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Sorci Viola's Armando Bonelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosimo Sciamanna in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosimo Sciamanna in the 87th minute of play forced Sorci Viola's goalkeeper Armando Bonelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cosimo Sciamanna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Armando Bonelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the game, Cosimo Sciamanna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Armando Bonelli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Zola Predosa FC had won after a very even match.
