In the 4th minute, Cristian Mirciu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Navigatii Bacău fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, Renato Augusto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Papo Roach. Navigatii Bacău's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Renato Augusto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 11 played minutes Navigatii Bacău got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Mirciu. Renato Augusto scored 2-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Papo Roach, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Cristian Mirciu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aurelio Walme was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. After 29 minutes, Blas Brun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Navigatii Bacău and the S.E.R. Caxias do Sul players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Navigatii Bacău's Blas Brun got a free kick in the 29th minute. Lucio Siekkötter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Papo Roach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 38 minutes of play, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Lei Feng Yan made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Papo Roach was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cătălin Archiudean recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aurelio Walme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jannik Roblaa in the 44th minute of the match. Aurelio Walme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Mirciu, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Navigatii Bacău's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Blas Brun in the 54th minute. Blas Brun made a great header on Navigatii Bacău's corner, it was just that S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Aurelio Walme managed to reach the ball for a save. Renato Augusto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Inocencio Barea kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After 64 played minutes Navigatii Bacău got a freekick which was hit by Cătălin Archiudean. Papo Roach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renato Augusto in the 68th minute of the match. Papo Roach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucio Siekkötter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 74 minutes into the game, when Radu Dragușin put in a rough tackle. Radu Dragușin kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute Renato Augusto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Papo Roach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's corner Lei Feng Yan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Papo Roach quite easily take care of the ball. Navigatii Bacău's Papo Roach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Siekkötter in the 78th minute of play. After 79 minutes Navigatii Bacău's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lei Feng Yan who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Renato Augusto managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Papo Roach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucio Siekkötter in the 81st minute of the match. In the 83rd match minute, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gláuber Tande to maneuver through the defense. Blas Brun, 84 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Renato Augusto scored 4-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Papo Roach, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 90th minute, Honorio Urdin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Mirciu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Aurelio Walme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the S.E.R. Caxias do Sul players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
