But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Martini couldn't finish the play. In the 24thth minute of the game Dariusz Wos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lunatics of Arianrhod's Eugenio Manfredi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eugenio Manfredi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Wos in the 29th minute of play. Eugenio Manfredi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dariusz Wos, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After a rather tough play, A.C. Patagonia's Damian Pluciennik got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Lunatics of Arianrhod's Eugenio Manfredi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dariusz Wos in the 43rd minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dariusz Wos made a kick off. 61 minutes into the game, Dariusz Wos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eugenio Manfredi. Dariusz Wos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. A.C. Patagonia's Aldo Di Carlo was substituted for Dariusz Wos. Aldo Di Carlo might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eugenio Manfredi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aldo Di Carlo ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francesco Romino in the 72nd minute of play forced A.C. Patagonia's goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugenio Manfredi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aldo Di Carlo went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Aldo Di Carlo might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eugenio Manfredi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aldo Di Carlo ran back to his position shaking his head. 85 minutes into the game, Aldo Di Carlo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Eugenio Manfredi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 89th minute of the game. One of Lunatics of Arianrhod:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of A.C. Patagonia:s goal. After 91 minutes of play, A.C. Patagonia's Gustav Siöman made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eugenio Manfredi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Peter Schmeichel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fedele Panza in the 97th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. A.C. Patagonia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
