Heigo Mustkivi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Carberry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Waud De Geyter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mugurel Chiriloaie, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Waud De Geyter made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Gheorghiţă Hagi sent off a good shot on target. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Heigo Mustkivi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 29 minutes into the match, Tapa Athlétic™'s goal looked a bit too open when Damazy Radzyminski came free, but Heigo Mustkivi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gheorghiţă Hagi succeeded in the game's 39th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, Waud De Geyter successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With an all-out effort, Tapa Athlétic™'s Waud De Geyter threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kalju Palk, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 45th minute, Frans Van Caubergen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Heigo Mustkivi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Gheorghiţă Hagi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waud De Geyter having to interfere. After 53 played minutes Tapa Athlétic™ got a freekick which was hit by Leopold Mineja. With a little luck, Tapa Athlétic™'s Heigo Mustkivi got control of the ball when Loid De Keuster tried to sneak it across the goal line. Heigo Mustkivi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Benjamin Carberry showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 68 minute of play. After 84 played minutes Tapa Athlétic™ got a freekick which was hit by Yan Chuan Ling. 94 minutes into the match, Tapa Athlétic™'s goalkeeper Heigo Mustkivi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Loid De Keuster. Waud De Geyter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mugurel Chiriloaie, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Silver Squad AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tapa Athlétic™.
