Dániel Farkas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Waud De Geyter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frans Van Caubergen in the 19th minute of play forced TS Barca Skawina's goalkeeper Tomasz Panikowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomasz Panikowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frans Van Caubergen, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arrosko Lechem got free with Waud De Geyter in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Loid De Keuster's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomasz Panikowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. If Frans Van Caubergen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
Waud De Geyter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dániel Farkas in the 50th minute of play. In the 51st minute of the match, Damazy Radzyminski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tomasz Panikowski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
