Octavian Jähnigen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiberiu Caramarin in the 3rd minute of play. MIT were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Predador Brasiliense MZBR's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mihăiţă Ilarie took the corner. Mihăiţă Ilarie took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Octavian Jähnigen. Predador Brasiliense MZBR's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cris Gol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Calistrat Madgearu made a huge save. 11 minutes into the match, Tiberiu Caramarin notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Predador Brasiliense MZBR's Octavian Jähnigen. Octavian Jähnigen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 14 minutes into the match, Predador Brasiliense MZBR's goal looked a bit too open when Tiberiu Caramarin came free, but Octavian Jähnigen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute, Cris Gol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Predador Brasiliense MZBR's Octavian Jähnigen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiberiu Caramarin in the 19th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, MIT's Tiberiu Caramarin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Octavian Jähnigen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 24 minutes into the match, Predador Brasiliense MZBR's goal looked a bit too open when Tiberiu Caramarin came free, but Octavian Jähnigen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Predador Brasiliense MZBR's zone, Nicodim Orășan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octavian Jähnigen came out of the goal and Nicodim Orășan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiberiu Caramarin in the 29th minute of play forced Predador Brasiliense MZBR's goalkeeper Octavian Jähnigen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cris Gol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. MIT's Calistrat Madgearu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cris Gol in the 32nd minute of play. Octavian Jähnigen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiberiu Caramarin, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Raúl Palomar kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Predador Brasiliense MZBR made a substitution. António Sobral replaced Cris Gol. In the 45th minute, António Sobral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiberiu Caramarin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Octavian Jähnigen having to make a save. Octavian Jähnigen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiberiu Caramarin in the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when António Sobral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Calistrat Madgearu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lam Baril in the 50th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers António Sobral in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Calistrat Madgearu saved MIT from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiberiu Caramarin in the 55th minute of play forced Predador Brasiliense MZBR's goalkeeper Octavian Jähnigen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Octavian Jähnigen was a little too slow when Tiberiu Caramarin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 0-3. Predador Brasiliense MZBR made a substitution. Jânio Donatello replaced Birger Ståhlman. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiberiu Caramarin got free with Octavian Jähnigen in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 69 minutes into the match, Predador Brasiliense MZBR's goalkeeper Octavian Jähnigen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiberiu Caramarin. Tiberiu Caramarin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Octavian Jähnigen having to make a save. 71 minutes into the match, Predador Brasiliense MZBR's goal looked a bit too open when Tiberiu Caramarin came free, but Octavian Jähnigen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
