Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Guido Vissenaeken started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 11th minute Gong Qi Fan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Baia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gong Qi Fan in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vítor Baia saved Brugge United from getting behind. In the 26th minute Playa Malvín were awarded a corner. Stelian Murgu went to the cornerflag to take it. Playa Malvín's Stelian Murgu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vítor Baia in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Brugge United's Herbert Pietrowicz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Michael Guisla, made in the 29th minute of the game. 38 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Teixeira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guido Vissenaeken. 43 minutes into the game, Herbert Pietrowicz threw the ball into play from the sideline. Playa Malvín's Vladimiro Marquez quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 45th minute, Herbert Pietrowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Vissenaeken came free, but Zé Roberto Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gong Qi Fan to make the kick off. In the 56th minute Sandro Gaúcho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Roberto Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brugge United's Arnauld Van Impe was substituted for Guido Vissenaeken. Brugge United's Waud Huijbrechts was substituted for Jaspar Van Den Broeck. The throw-in from Herbert Pietrowicz in the 59th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Playa Malvín's Vladimiro Marquez. Gong Qi Fan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vítor Baia having to make a save. With an all-out effort, Playa Malvín's Vítor Baia threw himself towards the right post 59 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gong Qi Fan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 63rd minute Arnauld Van Impe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Roberto Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the game, Gong Qi Fan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Vítor Baia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Playa Malvín's Quinto Ampudia was substituted for Gong Qi Fan. The supporters of Brugge United booed when Playa Malvín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimiro Marquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé Roberto Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnauld Van Impe in the 72nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Playa Malvín's Quinto Ampudia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vítor Baia. That made the score 0-2 after 74 minutes of play. After 81 minutes of play, Brugge United's Arnauld Van Impe made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zé Roberto Teixeira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Quinto Ampudia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Vítor Baia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brugge United's Vítor Baia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quinto Ampudia in the 87th minute of play. Zé Roberto Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnauld Van Impe in the 89th minute of play. The Playa Malvín players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
