A nice corner shot did that Remigiusz Galaska got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vítor Baia quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Daniel Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laurențiu Roşculeţ, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Kutsikad's Daniel Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ümit Karan in the 18th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Brugge United's goalkeeper Vítor Baia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henri Väärsi. Kevin Ööpiks short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Vítor Baia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alfons Bagge kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After having played for 47 minutes, Ilmar Heikman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kutsikad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ilmar Heikman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Brugge United booed when Kutsikad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jano Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball.
