Los once leones Ourense's Mao Si played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karol Panasewicz in the 21st minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Robin Sharma successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Karol Panasewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mao Si showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karol Panasewicz in the 27th minute of the match. Blue Mountain State's Robin Sharma proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Blue Mountain State from getting a goal against them. Los once leones Ourense's Mao Si played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvio Burualla in the 36th minute of play. Mao Si took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karol Panasewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tang Yang Le charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tang Yang Le the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 41 played minutes Blue Mountain State got a freekick which was hit by Tang Yang Le. Marcio Martinez hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Mao Si came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Blue Mountain State's Karol Panasewicz. But to his dismay, Karol Panasewicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 56th minute, Karol Panasewicz made a precise shot to the right of Mao Si. Los once leones Ourense's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The Blue Mountain State fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Blue Mountain State's Karol Panasewicz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 64 minutes into the game, Karol Panasewicz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Mao Si was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Blue Mountain State's Karol Panasewicz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mao Si. That made the score 1-5 after 72 minutes of play. Blue Mountain State's Lionel-Andrés Messi was substituted for Karol Panasewicz. After 80 played minutes Los once leones Ourense got a freekick which was hit by Edelmiro Calvo. In the 89th minute, Lionel-Andrés Messi fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mao Si, passed just outside the right post. Gökcan Bergin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mao Si firmly grabbed it by the left post.
