The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by Deportivo Medievales's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fabio Mancinelli was slow to take the kick. During this time MegaFenerbahce's players had a chance to rest. MegaFenerbahce's Fabio Mancinelli was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Robert Abbondanzieri in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After having played for 10 minutes, Augustinas Gavorskis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Medievales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augustinas Gavorskis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Fabio Mancinelli notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Deportivo Medievales's Robert Abbondanzieri. Robert Abbondanzieri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alkın Ateş made in the 17th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Fabio Mancinelli. 19 minutes into the match, Deportivo Medievales's goalkeeper Robert Abbondanzieri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 顾义远. 25 minutes into the match, MegaFenerbahce's goal looked a bit too open when Augustinas Gavorskis came free, but Atay Türegün reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alkın Ateş hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Mancinelli in the 36th minute of play forced Deportivo Medievales's goalkeeper Robert Abbondanzieri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robert Abbondanzieri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Mancinelli in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind MegaFenerbahce's goalkeeper Atay Türegün, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augustinas Gavorskis in the 41st minute of play forced MegaFenerbahce's goalkeeper Atay Türegün to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the game, Deportivo Medievales's Augustinas Gavorskis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Atay Türegün made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Medievales's Wellington Aranzazu got a free kick in the 45th minute. Robert Abbondanzieri was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Fabio Mancinelli. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Augustinas Gavorskis made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Marco Servando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Augustinas Gavorskis succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 53rd playminute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augustinas Gavorskis got free with Atay Türegün in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If 顾义远 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deportivo Medievales's Eriberto Dalmai was substituted for Joseph Engelborgh. Deportivo Medievales made a substitution. Eleuterio Ovando replaced Gustavo Gar. Nino Manfredi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Atay Türegün showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augustinas Gavorskis in the 73rd minute of the match. Deportivo Medievales's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Sazon in the 74th minute. The corner ended in Tomas Sazon almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MegaFenerbahce's Atay Türegün did a great save. Atay Türegün made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustinas Gavorskis in the 76th minute of play. In the 84th minute Augustinas Gavorskis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atay Türegün saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 顾义远 in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robert Abbondanzieri saved Deportivo Medievales from getting behind. Deportivo Medievales's Robert Abbondanzieri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Servando in the 91st minute of play. Augustinas Gavorskis struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Atay Türegün didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Medievales. Deportivo Medievales were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over MegaFenerbahce's much stronger midfield.
