After some careless play in the SSV Ulm 1846 defense, Indiana Jones kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kryspin Cupial. The SSV Ulm 1846 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kryspin Cupial should have stopped the shot. Matías Kranevitter kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niclas Monschke got free with Benjamin Tino in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kryspin Cupial made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Indiana Jones in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute of the match Club El Progreso got a corner. SSV Ulm 1846's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Indiana Jones ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Washington Papa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to SSV Ulm 1846 getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Stephane Bosch hit a great ball.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Indiana Jones in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kryspin Cupial prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Club El Progreso's Benjamin Tino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Don Merlot in the 59th minute of play. Benjamin Tino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Don Merlot in the 62nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Indiana Jones's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kryspin Cupial was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Club El Progreso's Benjamin Tino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niclas Monschke in the 67th minute of play. Club El Progreso's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niclas Monschke was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 93 minutes into the game, SSV Ulm 1846's Don Merlot nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benjamin Tino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SSV Ulm 1846 had won after a very even match.
