The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The throw-in from Anthony De Francesco in the 4th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Purple Talents's Gustav Mattheijs. If Zeledon Tabb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antonio Vissenaeckens during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of KaoS Futbol Club booed when Purple Talents was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Vissenaeckens didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, KaoS Futbol Club's Igor Lebas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 박 서문 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pierluigi Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Lazcano in the 28th minute of the match. Christoffer Lingren was slow to take the kick. During this time Purple Talents's players had a chance to rest. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Igor Lebas was the one to do the kick off. The Purple Talents supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Purple Talents would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
