The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hugo Orlando Gatti showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Filipe Meireles successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 12th minute, Paolo Cucao made a precise shot to the right of Hugo Orlando Gatti. Abuba Akotonon FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A collision led to KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Lech Frankowski hit a great ball. Abuba Akotonon FC's Genaro Elivareo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 15th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ. A hard shot 19 in the game by Genaro Elivareo from a close distance when the talented Filipe Meireles managed to make a qualified save. KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's players were relieved. In the 22nd minute, Paolo Cucao made a precise shot to the right of Hugo Orlando Gatti. Abuba Akotonon FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. J.J Okocha made in the 28th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Vânderson Barbosa. Filipe Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genaro Elivareo in the 36th minute of play. In the 36th minute, KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's Lech Frankowski seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lech Frankowski the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lech Frankowski had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 38th minute of the game, Abuba Akotonon FC got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. In the 41st minute, Vânderson Barbosa made a precise shot to the right of Filipe Meireles. KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

The supporters of Abuba Akotonon FC booed when KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zula Adamowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 2-4 when Paolo Cucao sped through Abuba Akotonon FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hugo Orlando Gatti.
