Arif Çelebi Ergener might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anton Björnberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arif Çelebi Ergener ran back to his position shaking his head. Inter de Chillán's Anton Björnberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Çelebi Ergener in the 11th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Inter de Chillán's Vatan Enfal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lech Blochowiak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vatan Enfal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Lech Blochowiak made a huge save. Tours Football Club's Faustin Hamet got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arif Çelebi Ergener took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anton Björnberg. Anton Björnberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Tours Football Club's Romulo Urko managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Albino Zenteno in the 38 minute of the game. Guy Jourdan made in the 41st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Charles-Emmanuel Camilleri however managed to control. Inter de Chillán's Vatan Enfal got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anton Björnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Çelebi Ergener in the 45th minute of play. Inter de Chillán's Anton Björnberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Çelebi Ergener in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Arif Çelebi Ergener ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anton Björnberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arif Çelebi Ergener to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vatan Enfal in the 55th minute of play forced Tours Football Club's goalkeeper Lech Blochowiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tours Football Club's Lech Blochowiak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vatan Enfal in the 58th minute of play. Lech Blochowiak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Abel, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Faustin Hamet's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Anton Björnberg firmly grabbed it by the left post. Inter de Chillán's Rickard Erserman was substituted for Vatan Enfal. Tours Football Club made a substitution. Cyrille Jenny replaced Arif Çelebi Ergener. Tours Football Club made a substitution. In the 90th minute, Samuel Abel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Cyrille Jenny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anton Björnberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustin Hamet, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
