The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Faustin Hamet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jass Villems having to interfere. Tours Football Club's Lech Blochowiak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hipolito Lekubegi in the 7th minute of play. After having played for 10 minutes, Arif Çelebi Ergener managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tours Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arif Çelebi Ergener was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tours Football Club's Guy Jourdan quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Nemir Al Hammady, made in the 15th minute of the game. Jass Villems made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Çelebi Ergener in the 16th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Faustin Hamet took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jass Villems to make any attempt to save it. Arif Çelebi Ergener's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jass Villems read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute Tours Football Club were awarded a corner. Guy Jourdan went to the cornerflag to take it. Tours Football Club's Guy Jourdan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jass Villems in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arif Çelebi Ergener in the 30th minute of play forced Capua Whitewolves's goalkeeper Jass Villems to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Tours Football Club's Arif Çelebi Ergener nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jass Villems made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After some careless play in the Tours Football Club defense, Edson Ventosa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lech Blochowiak. The Tours Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lech Blochowiak should have stopped the shot. Lech Blochowiak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edson Ventosa in the 40th minute of play. In the 42ndth minute of the game Arif Çelebi Ergener who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Capua Whitewolves's Jass Villems was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Edson Ventosa came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Capua Whitewolves fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edson Ventosa couldn't finish the play.

Nemir Al Hammady made in the 51st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Edson Ventosa however managed to control. 53 minutes into the match, Tours Football Club's goalkeeper Lech Blochowiak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nemesio Hechter. Elari Hirv blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lech Blochowiak having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Hechter in the 59th minute of play forced Tours Football Club's goalkeeper Lech Blochowiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lech Blochowiak came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Capua Whitewolves's Nemesio Hechter. But to his dismay, Nemesio Hechter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Tours Football Club made a substitution. Jim-André Van Landschoot replaced Charles-Emmanuel Camilleri. Elari Hirv who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Lech Blochowiak when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 71 minutes, Cyrille Jenny mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tours Football Club and the Capua Whitewolves players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tours Football Club made a substitution. Christophe Régnault replaced Ulysse Houssais. The supporters of Capua Whitewolves booed when Tours Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cyrille Jenny didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lech Blochowiak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hanung Sephtianda in the 77th minute of play. Jass Villems took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aziz Koehler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute Aziz Koehler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jass Villems saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Cyrille Jenny notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Capua Whitewolves's Jass Villems. Jass Villems was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 92nd minute Nemesio Hechter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lech Blochowiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
