When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, André Maraschin took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Aurelio Walme to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as LVCVS AVGVSTI's André Maraschin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aurelio Walme. That made the score 2-0 after 14 minutes of play. Geronimo Argi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Breno Vergílio in the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute André Maraschin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Walme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, LVCVS AVGVSTI's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Owsiak came free, but Geronimo Argi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lei Feng Yan in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geronimo Argi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. LVCVS AVGVSTI's Geronimo Argi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Owsiak in the 25th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, LVCVS AVGVSTI's André Maraschin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aurelio Walme narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Caxias do Sul fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aurelio Walme should have stopped the shot. In the 92nd minute, one of S.E.R. Caxias do Sul:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for S.E.R. Caxias do Sul. Aurelio Walme had in the 93rdth minute some difficulties stopping André Maraschin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Geronimo Argi made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Daniel Owsiak sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Gaudencio Olle managed to get in a good position for a shot. LVCVS AVGVSTI's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaudencio Olle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelio Walme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. LVCVS AVGVSTI had won after a very even match.
