An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Käller in the 5th minute of play forced La Candela FC's goalkeeper Ruben Sánchez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Käller took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruben Sánchez. Ruben Sánchez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Sebastian Käller's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruben Sánchez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th match minute, La Candela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walter Samuel to maneuver through the defense. If Sebastian Käller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 23 minutes into the match, La Candela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Käller came free, but Ruben Sánchez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kind of Blue made a substitution. Anastasios Pallini replaced Jonny Lagerberg. A throw-in in the 27th minute of the game was made by Valentin Barco with Sebastián Battaglia as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After a defensive mix-up in La Candela FC's zone, Anastasios Pallini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruben Sánchez came out of the goal and Anastasios Pallini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Orlando Medina kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Sebastian Käller made a precise shot to the right of Ruben Sánchez. La Candela FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Sebastian Käller's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruben Sánchez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Sebastian Käller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Kind of Blue were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sebastian Käller to make the kick off. Sebastian Käller's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ruben Sánchez firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, La Candela FC's Ruben Sánchez got control of the ball when Sebastian Käller tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ruben Sánchez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Käller in the 56th minute of the match. Ruben Sánchez made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Sebastian Käller sent off a good shot on target. 66 minutes into the match, Kind of Blue's Sebastian Käller sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ruben Sánchez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sebastian Käller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Sánchez having to interfere. Kind of Blue's Östen Högman was substituted for Zhuo Ke Le. La Candela FC made a substitution. Roberto Rogel replaced Claudio Marangoni. La Candela FC made a substitution. La Candela FC's Sebastián Battaglia got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Kind of Blue walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
