After some careless play in the Microsoft Team defense, Lionel-Andrés Newell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Décio Barbosa. The Microsoft Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Décio Barbosa should have stopped the shot. Papi Saron hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Lionel-Andrés Newell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Décio Barbosa was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. In the 24th minute, Universitario's Lionel-Andrés Newell ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Décio Barbosa. Décio Barbosa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. 27 minutes into the match, Universitario's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Lopes came free, but Roman Diaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th play minute Papi Saron came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Décio Barbosa. 4-0. The supporters of Microsoft Team booed when Universitario was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Branislav Vitev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roman Diaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luan Pontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Universitario's Lionel-Andrés Newell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Décio Barbosa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 47 minutes into the match, Microsoft Team's goal looked a bit too open when Papi Saron came free, but Décio Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lionel-Andrés Newell was the one to do the kick off. Décio Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Papi Saron in the 53rd minute of the match. Décio Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lionel-Andrés Newell, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 72nd minute, Ricardinho Neiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Universitario's Mon Postigo was substituted for Lionel-Andrés Newell. A collision led to Microsoft Team getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Ricardinho Neiva hit a great ball. In the 74th minute Mon Postigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Décio Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Microsoft Team's goal looked a bit too open when Mon Postigo came free, but Décio Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Ebardo Buergo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the match, Microsoft Team's Dorian Catarinense broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Luiz Eduardo Netto scored 5-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roman Diaz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Décio Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mon Postigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Décio Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mon Postigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 87 minutes into the game, Universitario's Mon Postigo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Décio Barbosa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Décio Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mon Postigo in the 91st minute of play. After 92 played minutes Universitario got a freekick which was hit by Papi Saron.
