The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Lino Mazza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save -BZF- Petrolul Berca from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Marcin Cebula took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Lino Mazza to make any attempt to save it. Lino Mazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, A.C. Patagonia's Lino Mazza threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dariusz Wos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 18 minutes into the match, A.C. Patagonia's goal looked a bit too open when Albertinho Alagoano came free, but Peter Schmeichel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lino Mazza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcin Cebula in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute Rui Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Mazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Marcin Cebula ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lino Mazza was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Lino Mazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Costa in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th minute A.C. Patagonia were awarded a corner. Szymon Jaszyna went to the cornerflag to take it. With a little luck, -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Lino Mazza got control of the ball when Marcin Cebula tried to sneak it across the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, -BZF- Petrolul Berca's goalkeeper Lino Mazza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcin Cebula. Lino Mazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dariusz Wos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dariusz Wos got free with Lino Mazza in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lino Mazza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dariusz Wos in the 45th minute. A.C. Patagonia's Peter Schmeichel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albertinho Alagoano in the 46th minute of play.

Lino Mazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dariusz Wos, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute Albertinho Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Schmeichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the game, A.C. Patagonia's Ludwig Wassenius nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lino Mazza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Lino Mazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcin Cebula in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind -BZF- Petrolul Berca's goalkeeper Lino Mazza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludwig Wassenius in the 59th minute of play forced -BZF- Petrolul Berca's goalkeeper Lino Mazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dariusz Wos took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lino Mazza. Lino Mazza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. A.C. Patagonia's Aldo Di Carlo was substituted for Dariusz Wos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Di Carlo in the 67th minute of play forced -BZF- Petrolul Berca's goalkeeper Lino Mazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to A.C. Patagonia getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Damian Pluciennik hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, A.C. Patagonia's Damian Pluciennik got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Alexsandro Bueno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Peter Schmeichel having to make a save. Lino Mazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Di Carlo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Simon Kjær lost his temper 77 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for -BZF- Petrolul Berca! Lino Mazza had in the 79thth minute some difficulties stopping Szymon Jaszyna's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. A.C. Patagonia's Aldo Di Carlo got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lino Mazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Di Carlo in the 84th minute of play. Lino Mazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustav Siöman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lino Mazza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludwig Wassenius in the 91st minute of the match. There was no doubt that A.C. Patagonia were the better team. A.C. Patagonia's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
