After some careless play in the Vykans Vikingar defense, Charalambos Vokolos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcus Ekrot. The Vykans Vikingar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcus Ekrot should have stopped the shot. Lino Mazza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Mutumba in the 26th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonardo Trancoso in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lino Mazza saved -BZF- Petrolul Berca from getting behind. In the 31st match minute, -BZF- Petrolul Berca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebiu Tunar to maneuver through the defense. Vykans Vikingar's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alexsandro Bueno ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Leonardo Trancoso sped through -BZF- Petrolul Berca's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lino Mazza. Hílton Souza charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hílton Souza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Vykans Vikingar getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Hílton Souza hit a great ball. Marcus Ekrot made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Alexsandro Bueno sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Vykans Vikingar getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Jose Indalecio hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Albertinho Alagoano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcus Ekrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charalambos Vokolos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The -BZF- Petrolul Berca fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Albertinho Alagoano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Vykans Vikingar made a substitution. Abdi Revis replaced Mats Hermansson. Flavio Valines struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Marcus Ekrot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for -BZF- Petrolul Berca. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albertinho Alagoano in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcus Ekrot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcus Ekrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charalambos Vokolos in the 90th minute of play. Flavio Valines kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Shi Jing Feng was substituted for Eusebiu Tunar. In the 92nd match minute, -BZF- Petrolul Berca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Valines to maneuver through the defense. Leonardo Trancoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
