Waldemar Okopny made a great header on Unidad de Matanza's corner, it was just that -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Lino Mazza managed to reach the ball for a save. Nestor Bâru might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lino Mazza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nestor Bâru ran back to his position shaking his head. Lino Mazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Bâru in the 18th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Nestor Bâru put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Lino Mazza. The -BZF- Petrolul Berca players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Unidad de Matanza were winning 0-4.

Yu Chen Sha hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Nestor Bâru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Lino Mazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 60 minutes, Lino Mazza successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albertinho Alagoano in the 61st minute of play forced Unidad de Matanza's goalkeeper Venancio Cristofol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eusebiu Tunar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Unidad de Matanza's Máximo Kirchner, in the 89th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Unidad de Matanza.
