The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 10th minute, Nestor Bâru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aaron Glanselius was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 14th minute, Nestor Bâru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 17th minute, Nestor Bâru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aaron Glanselius was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 25thth minute of the game Nestor Bâru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SSC Ambrosini's Aaron Glanselius was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Lotfi Ziadi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unidad de Matanza's supporters rose to their feet, but Lotfi Ziadi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aaron Glanselius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, SSC Ambrosini's Marcus Kilman got a free kick in the 37th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henrik Möllgren in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Venancio Cristofol saved Unidad de Matanza from getting behind.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nestor Bâru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Unidad de Matanza's Michal Stehno was substituted for Nestor Bâru. 61 minutes into the match, SSC Ambrosini's goal looked a bit too open when Michal Stehno came free, but Aaron Glanselius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcus Kilman kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. One of Unidad de Matanza:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SSC Ambrosini:s goal. Unidad de Matanza's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
