Patagonia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dariusz Wos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 18 minutes of play, A.C. Patagonia's Dariusz Wos made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lino Mazza was left in no man's land by his defense there! -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Dong Xiong quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ludwig Wassenius, made in the 21st minute of the game. A.C. Patagonia's Peter Schmeichel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexsandro Bueno in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Dariusz Wos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Lino Mazza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. -BZF- Petrolul Berca made a substitution. Yu Chen Sha replaced Alexsandro Bueno. Yu Chen Sha made in the 28th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by A.C. Patagonia's Rui Costa. 33 minutes into the game, A.C. Patagonia's Dariusz Wos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lino Mazza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Peter Schmeichel made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Eusebiu Tunar sent off a good shot on target. After the first half A.C. Patagonia were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Albertinho Alagoano made the kick off in the second half. Peter Schmeichel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charalambos Vokolos in the 51st minute of play. Flavio Valines hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. A.C. Patagonia's Gustav Siöman was substituted for Marcin Cebula. A.C. Patagonia made a substitution. Lino Mazza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aldo Di Carlo's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. A.C. Patagonia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
