Eduardo De Francesco hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. 3 minutes into the match, Santa Margarita's goal looked a bit too open when Wilco Keldermans came free, but Pontus Nordström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonas Vingegaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pontus Nordström having to interfere. César Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witomir Pisarczyk in the 10th minute of play. With a little luck, Decathlon Dudes's César Sousa got control of the ball when Andréas Hasselqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Juan Ayuso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pontus Nordström was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Pontus Nordström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Vingegaard in the 17th minute of the match. 0-1 became the score in the 28th minute when Juan Ayuso elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. César Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witomir Pisarczyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Witomir Pisarczyk came free with the goalkeeper in the 39th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and César Sousa could save by the left post. Santa Margarita's Pontus Nordström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Ayuso in the 45th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Witomir Pisarczyk was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Santa Margarita's goalkeeper Pontus Nordström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilco Keldermans. Luuk Theunissen hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Santa Margarita made a substitution. Klaus Mohammadi replaced Gerardo Lordi. After 61 minutes of play, Santa Margarita's Mauro Icardi made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. César Sousa was left in no man's land by his defense there! César Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Icardi, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Pontus Nordström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Hilhorst, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mauro Icardi took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised César Sousa. César Sousa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. 75 minutes into the match, Decathlon Dudes's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Icardi came free, but César Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Decathlon Dudes getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Klaas Zwartkruis hit a great ball. Eduardo De Francesco struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. César Sousa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santa Margarita. Mauro Icardi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Decathlon Dudes's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Icardi came free, but César Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Decathlon Dudes succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Santa Margarita had controlled the match.
