When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Silvestre Loi put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Guy Durant. Reynald Baillou hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Guy Durant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Loi in the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the game, Tom Beaune recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jacek Matuch. Jacek Matuch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonin Lory, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Jacek Matuch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anatol Hönes in the 42nd minute of the match. SV Bad Harzburg's Jacek Matuch proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save SV Bad Harzburg from getting a goal against them. With his leg Jacek Matuch managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Lyon 69ers's Anatol Hönes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Antonin Lory put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jacek Matuch. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

After recieving a nice pass, SV Bad Harzburg's Rodolfo Peters tried to score from far away in the 89th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tom Beaune in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacek Matuch prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 96th minute Tom Beaune shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacek Matuch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lyon 69ers were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SV Bad Harzburg for a fine match.
