In the 17th minute Gerardo Lordi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Fresco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, All Boys 22's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Lordi came free, but Ezequiel Fresco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute of the match All Boys 22 got a corner. Santa Margarita's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Yao Zhen Guang ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Yao Zhen Guang got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pontus Nordström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 29 minutes into the game, Jose Nuxila was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santa Margarita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave All Boys 22 the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Santa Margarita:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of All Boys 22:s goal. In the 30th minute there was a penalty for All Boys 22. Yao Zhen Guang stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pontus Nordström. 1-1. Pontus Nordström made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Francisco Freire in the 34th minute. Ezequiel Fresco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Lordi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the match, All Boys 22's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Lordi came free, but Ezequiel Fresco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44 minutes, Gerardo Lordi made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. All Boys 22's Ezequiel Fresco tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. All Boys 22's Ezequiel Fresco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witomir Pisarczyk in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yngve Uggla to make the kick off. Pontus Nordström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walter Heggert in the 51st minute of play. Ezequiel Fresco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witomir Pisarczyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santa Margarita's Klaus Mohammadi was substituted for Gerardo Lordi. After 56 played minutes Santa Margarita got a freekick which was hit by Andréas Hasselqvist. Pontus Nordström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yngve Uggla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Mauro Icardi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ezequiel Fresco. The goal made the score 1-5. 85 minutes into the match, All Boys 22's goalkeeper Ezequiel Fresco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mauro Icardi. In the 86th match minute, All Boys 22 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yao Zhen Guang to maneuver through the defense. If Mauro Icardi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 93 minutes into the match, Santa Margarita's Mauro Icardi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ezequiel Fresco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Santa Margarita's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
