Eugen Lupea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jairo Primeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remus Vermeşan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute ASF BAIA MARE -MM- were awarded a corner. Felix Vărzaru went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Felix Vărzaru got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jairo Primeiro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, DON RAMON 72's Tomás Abecia got a free kick in the 26th minute. Jairo Primeiro made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Eugen Lupea sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st minute Rod Stewart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomás Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Rod Stewart had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thomás Linares. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rod Stewart was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Silvano Harkaitz might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thomás Linares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silvano Harkaitz ran back to his position shaking his head. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Remus Vermeşan to strike the kick off in the second half. Jairo Primeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandu Gheorghiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 60th minute, Fermin Laurendi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 65th minute, Marcel Petculescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Everardo Basajaun kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remus Vermeşan in the 68th minute of play forced DON RAMON 72's goalkeeper Jairo Primeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded DON RAMON 72 left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ASF BAIA MARE -MM-.
