Momentum FC's Sergio Goycochea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Bartoleme in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fidel Raulo in the 28th minute of play forced Momentum FC's goalkeeper Sergio Goycochea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sergio Goycochea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Goel Mahal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Momentum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Goel Mahal came free, but Sergio Goycochea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Momentum FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sergio Goycochea should have stopped the shot. Sergio Goycochea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Goel Mahal, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 93rd minute, Anga FC's Marcial Quintyn ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sergio Goycochea. Sergio Goycochea yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Tomás Elija's late challenge caught a Momentum FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomás Elija helped the player get up and apologised. 98 minutes into the match, Momentum FC's goalkeeper Sergio Goycochea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcial Quintyn. Anga FC played a much better game than Momentum FC and deserved their victory. The Momentum FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
