In the 19th minute Kaj Ekegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Lindqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SJÖARED's Adrian Springfält played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Arne Haglund in the 23rd minute of play. If Bengt-Arne Haglund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Sture Göransson sped through Vykans Vikingar's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Andreas Lindqvist. In the 33rdth minute of the game Sture Göransson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vykans Vikingar's Andreas Lindqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 34th minute, Gunnar Hellström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind SJÖARED's goalkeeper Adrian Springfält, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 39th minute, 董云夕 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bengt-Arne Haglund struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Adrian Springfält didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vykans Vikingar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bengt-Arne Haglund to make the kick off. Sture Göranssons short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Andreas Lindqvist to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Adrian Springfält was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 67 minutes of play, Vykans Vikingar's Martin Mutumba made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adrian Springfält was left in no man's land by his defense there! SJÖARED made a substitution. Isak Qvarnström replaced Vilhelm Lidman. Vykans Vikingar's Martin Mutumba got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vykans Vikingar's Börje Stål was substituted for Martin Mutumba. Vykans Vikingar's Abdi Revis was substituted for Mats Hermansson. After having played for 80 minutes, Urban Rudberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SJÖARED's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urban Rudberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roger Bålström charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roger Bålström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 92 played minutes Vykans Vikingar got a freekick which was hit by Bengt-Arne Haglund. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isak Qvarnström got free with Andreas Lindqvist in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
