The crowd rose to their feet as Chen Ao Fan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Andreas Lindqvist. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Skövde AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Mutumba came free, but Olov Wahlnäs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, Martin Mutumba cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Olov Wahlnäs was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kevin Keegan came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Andreas Lindqvist could save by the left post. When Vykans Vikingar's Martin Mutumba in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Skövde AIK's goalie prevented a goal. Olov Wahlnäs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Mutumba in the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Trancoso in the 21st minute of play forced Skövde AIK's goalkeeper Olov Wahlnäs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olov Wahlnäs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Trancoso in the 23rd minute of the match. Skövde AIK's Olov Wahlnäs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Mutumba in the 30th minute of play. Chen Ao Fan struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Andreas Lindqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skövde AIK.

Vykans Vikingar's Abdi Revis was substituted for Hugo Eden. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chen Ao Fan to strike the kick off in the second half. Leonardo Trancoso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Olov Wahlnäs made a huge save. Olov Wahlnäs made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Jose Indalecio sent off a good shot on target. After 63 played minutes Skövde AIK got a freekick which was hit by Filip Brolin. 64 minutes into the match, Skövde AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Hermansson came free, but Olov Wahlnäs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute of the match Vykans Vikingar got a corner. Skövde AIK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fernan Berart ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Vykans Vikingar's Martin Mutumba getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Vykans Vikingar made a substitution. Bengt-Arne Haglund replaced Martin Mutumba. After a rather tough play, Vykans Vikingar's Abdi Revis got a free kick in the 69th minute. Vykans Vikingar's Andreas Lindqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chen Ao Fan in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Skövde AIK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Abdi Revis fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Olov Wahlnäs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdi Revis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olov Wahlnäs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdi Revis, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bengt-Arne Haglund got free with Olov Wahlnäs in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andreas Lindqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Keegan in the 88th minute of the match. In the 89th minute Skövde AIK were awarded a corner. Kevin Keegan went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Skövde AIK's Kevin Keegan to fire away a dangerous shot which Andreas Lindqvist despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 92nd minute, Bengt-Arne Haglund reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Olov Wahlnäs. The goal made the score 1-3. Olov Wahlnäs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Trancoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
