DREAM TEAM WORLD's Lu Zhen Sheng proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save DREAM TEAM WORLD from getting a goal against them. One of Kattvik kings:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of DREAM TEAM WORLD:s goal. After the first half DREAM TEAM WORLD were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

DREAM TEAM WORLD's Elpidio Curcio was substituted for Jonathan Otto. When Elpidio Curcio came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the DREAM TEAM WORLD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elpidio Curcio couldn't finish the play. Koča Kafarov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alvar Arvidsson having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Koča Kafarov got free with Alvar Arvidsson in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alvar Arvidsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. If Waldemar Cardozo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Waldemar Cardozo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvar Arvidsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Waldemar Cardozo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alvar Arvidsson. Kattvik kings's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Waldemar Cardozo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. The Kattvik kings supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching DREAM TEAM WORLD's performance. The match ended with a win for DREAM TEAM WORLD.
