An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Tunström in the 4th minute of play forced Stoke FF's goalkeeper Niclas Andersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Magne Gunnarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kent Browall in the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Arne Stor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelinho Motta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Magne Gunnarsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. After 10 minutes Rönnöfors FF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pontus Granlund who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Stoke FF's corner Pontus Granlund fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Magne Gunnarsson quite easily take care of the ball. After 11 played minutes Rönnöfors FF got a freekick which was hit by Per Stenberg. Wiktor Dahlman hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Magne Gunnarsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelinho Motta's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 23rdth minute of the game Per Tunström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stoke FF's Niclas Andersson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Niclas Andersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per Tunström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 played minutes Stoke FF got a freekick which was hit by Kent Browall. Sven-Ove Isaksson hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute Henry Fagerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niclas Andersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelinho Motta who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Magne Gunnarsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Marcelinho Motta did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Magne Gunnarsson 31 minutes into the match. Stoke FF's Niclas Andersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per Tunström in the 37th minute of play. Niclas Andersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Tunström in the 39th minute of play. After 40 played minutes Stoke FF got a freekick which was hit by Ove Vedholm. Marcelinho Motta's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Magne Gunnarsson firmly grabbed it by the left post. Stoke FF's Niclas Andersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per Tunström in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Per Tunström made a precise shot to the right of Niclas Andersson. Stoke FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Magne Gunnarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Oskar Kihlberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute.
