Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Anders Lundqvist successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 3 played minutes Stoke FF got a freekick which was hit by Per-Oskar Kihlberg. Loco Durazno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loco Durazno in the 5th minute of play forced Stoke FF's goalkeeper Niclas Andersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Loco Durazno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Niclas Andersson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Anders Lundqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kent Browall's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. After some careless play in the Stoke FF defense, Loco Durazno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Niclas Andersson. The Stoke FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niclas Andersson should have stopped the shot. Kent Browall received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Anders Lundqvist came out and tried to block the shot, but Kent Browall slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 25th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Loco Durazno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niclas Andersson. Stoke FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Loco Durazno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Stoke FF's Niclas Andersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loco Durazno in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute of the match Golden Lions FC got a corner. Stoke FF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Walter Closet ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bebben Johansson was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Loco Durazno in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niclas Andersson saved Stoke FF from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Stoke FF's Kent Browall slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Anders Lundqvist. That made the score 2-2 after 37 minutes of play. In the 44th minute, Golden Lions FC's Joschi Hook seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Joschi Hook the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Golden Lions FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Joschi Hook had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 43rd minute, one of Golden Lions FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Golden Lions FC. Stoke FF's Niclas Andersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loco Durazno in the 48th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
In the 53rd match minute, Stoke FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bozkurt Orkun to maneuver through the defense. Niclas Andersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loco Durazno, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Stoke FF's goal looked a bit too open when Loco Durazno came free, but Niclas Andersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anders Lundqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Oskar Kihlberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Niclas Andersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loco Durazno in the 70th minute of play. Marcelinho Motta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Anders Lundqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Golden Lions FC made a substitution. Burç Tokhan replaced Loco Durazno. Golden Lions FC's İbrahim Efe Topdemir was substituted for Marcelo Steven. Niclas Andersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bebben Johansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Stoke FF's Niclas Andersson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Stoke FF from getting a goal against them. When Golden Lions FC's Mats Nyström in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stoke FF's goalie prevented a goal. Niclas Andersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Burç Tokhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Per-Oskar Kihlberg hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Burç Tokhan took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Niclas Andersson. Niclas Andersson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Golden Lions FC played a much better game than Stoke FF and deserved their victory. The Stoke FF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
